Our operational commitments

Concrete, measurable commitments: hosting and data location, retention, accessibility, purchasing and equipment, travel, suppliers, and an annual update of these indicators.

Our direction

Design lean, host in France

We would rather announce concrete directions than labels. Here is where we genuinely take action.

01 · HOSTING

Lean infrastructure

Our low-consumption hosting is in place with a French operator (Scaleway), sized to actual need, with no over-provisioning.

02 · LOCAL

Local processing

Sensitive analyses run on your device: less data transferred, less server load, more respect for privacy.

03 · IN FRANCE

Data in Europe

Hosting in France with Scaleway and Mistral AI: less dependence, and fewer data transfers outside Europe.

04 · SOCIAL

Security as a common good

Protecting those the market overlooks too: individuals, very small businesses, associations. A free offer to see clearly, no bank card needed.

05 · CODE

Eco-designed code

The software is lean too: lighter pages, WebP images, subset fonts, active compression and dead weight removed (several tens of MB stripped out). Less data transferred, faster pages, a smaller footprint, on every visit.

Our ethics

Protecting without scaring

We reject fear-based marketing. No giant padlocks, no doom-mongering, no absolute promises.

We respect privacy by design: checks based on k-anonymity (your password never leaves your device), data encryption, and transparency about our subcontractors. Our communication follows a simple rule: say what is certain, likely or expected, with its scope and its date.

Transparency. This page describes directions, not certifications. As Galyct grows, we will publish measurable commitments (consumption, footprint, accessibility) rather than unverified labels.

Our team · inclusion

An inclusive company, by conviction

We recruit on skills, rigour and the desire to do things well. Not on a standard career path, nor on an idea of what someone who works in cybersecurity should look like.

A personal word

I am Hans Mourette, founder of Galyct. I am neurodivergent, with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). So I know from the inside what it means to look for your place in a working world that is not always designed for you. Cybersecurity gives full scope to rigour, attention to detail and concentration: in it I found a profession that suits the way I function. I built Galyct so that others can do the same, in an environment that adapts to the person rather than the other way round. What I looked for for myself, I want to offer to others.

Hans Mourette, founder and president

We want to make real room for people with disabilities. Many cybersecurity roles lend themselves well to this: they are often carried out remotely, organised around writing and analysis, and easy to adapt. Most disabilities are invisible, and none of them stops anyone from being a good professional.

Our principle is simple: we adapt the role to the person, never the other way round. Adjusted hours and tools, accessible working environments, genuine listening, and recruitment that looks at what you can do, not at what you have to overcome.

For a sector short of people and talent, inclusion is not a box to tick: it is obvious, as much on human grounds as on strategic ones. Doing without skills for reasons that have nothing to do with the work would be a double mistake.

Our concrete commitments

  • Applications open to people with disabilities, with or without RQTH (the French official recognition of disabled worker status): we look at skills and motivation first.
  • Remote working. Our roles are largely carried out remotely, a setting that naturally makes it easier to adapt positions and supports everyone’s balance.

Everything else is adapted case by case, and this commitment will grow with the team.

Cybersecurity that is useful, lean and French.

The same standard applies, from the choice of our servers to the way we speak to you.
